Rooted in community,
Powered by science.

Our mission is to provide the bottom of the pyramid with affordable housing solutions that are truly low-cost, safe and 100% circular.

OUR STORY

The science behind CoolBricks originated at TU Delft in The Netherlands, where our founding team, led by Dr. Yask kulshreshtha upscaled biological soil stabilization from a 4 cm test block to a fully structural, free-standing wall.

By combining deep expertise in bio-binders with commercial strategy and design execution, we bridge high-tech material science and low-cost housing. We are redefining building standards across East Africa and sustainable innovation in Thhe Netherlands by transforming local soil into high-performance, cement-free infrastructure.

A circular system. From soil to shelter and beyond.

100% Local

Native soil, active organic compounds derived from cow dung, and a proprietary bio-polymer matrix.

High tech meets low tech

High-density mechanical compression without kiln firing. The same bio-stabilized formulation serves as both masonry blocks and high-adhesion mortar, reducing total site construction costs.

Circular by Design

100% zero-cement and unfired—fully circular and safely returnable to the earth.

built by communities

Local makers aren’t just hired — they’re trained, trusted and involved.

Building the future, one coolbrick at a time.
