CoolBricks is seeking a skilled mason for their projects in Uganda. As a Mason, you will be responsible for the making of CoolBricks using the block machine and construction of high quality walls using stabilised soil bricks according to provided drawings and instructions.

What You’ll Do
(Mason)

Masonry of walls using stabilised soil bricks according to provided drawings and
instructions, ensuring high-quality construction standards, including proper
alignment, levelling, and finishing.

Collaborating with the construction team to complete projects efficiently and within
the defined timelines.

Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining clean, organized construction site.
What You’ll Do
(Block Machine Operator)

Operating and maintaining the soil block production machines to manufacture
stabilised soil bricks.

Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting any issues that may arise
during the production process.

Ensuring efficient, consistent production process meeting pre-set quality standards.

Conducting regular maintenance and cleaning of the machines to keep them in
optimal condition.

Following safety protocols and taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents or
injuries while production of blocks.
Who You are
-
Previous experience as a mason or machine operator in the construction industry.

Experience with production of soil stabilised blocks (for block machine operator) is
an added advantage.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
